"Natural Facelift" & LED
Therapy
Lypossage can help lift and
tone the facial muscles, while stimulating repair and rehydration
of the facial tissues. People often comment that clients look ten
years younger.
Results are dramatic.
Even after one session, we can achieve a healthy glow and toning.
Imagine what we can do in 18 sessions!
*NEW* We now offer LED, a special light therapy
treatment that renews and rejuvenates skin.
Do all clients receive the same
approach?
No. The facial area, known
as Zone 3, requires special techniques. We design our approach
based on the individual client’s needs and their skin’s condition
to create the most effective and efficient
results.
We combine hand strokes with
the G5 machine attachments.
Who can benefit from
a “natural facelift”?
Male and female
professionals alike enjoy the benefits of a natural facelift. In
fact, statistics show that men are growing consumers of surgical
facelifts.
Clients, such as those who
are job-hunting or attending a class reunion, often want that extra
glow associated with younger skin, but without expensive surgery or
the use of chemicals. The natural facelift approach offers a
healthy option, tantamount to a gentle spa treatment, but more
relaxing and effective.
How is a Lypossage “natural facelift” better
than surgery?
We offer a more natural
approach that repairs (not removes) the tissue. We can do follow-up
treatments. The effects we achieve compliment your natural
looks.
Some of the obvious
drawbacks of surgical facelifts include:
How does a “natural facelift”
work?
Our goal is to address the
collagen and elastin break down and the drooping that affects most
bodies and faces experience due to aging, diet, sun, chemicals, or
injury.
We not only help smooth the
muscles and improve skin tone, but stimulate repair and
regeneration of the tissues.
What does a “natural facelift” feel
like?
Lypossage facials are
very gentle and relaxing and safe. We are clinically trained to
properly address the delicate areas around the head, face and
neck.
We use both hand strokes and
the G5 machine, which includes special attachments to address face,
scalp, and neck and shoulders areas associated with the
treatment.
First we apply an
all-natural botanical oil to stimulate the skin. The fragrance is
designed to be soothing and relaxing.
The hand strokes used on the
face include gentle sweeping strokes around the forehead and outer
eye area, mild pressure along the bone surrounding the eye socket,
and some squeezing along the jaw-line to break up
adhesions.
We also use the G5 machine
to address the scalp, neck, and shoulder areas. These all affect
how the facial muscles are held: where there is tightness, where
there is relaxation. We use massage attachments that are designed
to be gentle and relaxing to these more sensitive areas of the
body. Clients confess wanting to fall asleep with the gentle motion
of the massage.
What is LED and how does it improve my
skin?
As skin becomes less elastic
over time (due to smoking, stress, sun exposure, excessive alcohol,
pollutants in the air and illness) we develop lines and
scars.
Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs)
treatments use variable wavelengths of light to stimulate cell
receptors, energizing mitochondria and causing cells to multiply
and repair. One of the original applications for LEDs was
PhotoDynamic Therapy (PDT) to treat actinic keratosis and
pre-cancerous lesions. LED energy can also inhibit collagen
formation, helping reduce existing scar tissue.
While other skin therapies using light (including
intense pulsed light and laser
treatments) rely on thermal injury to the skin's collagen, water or
blood vessels to create changes in the skin, LED offers
non-ablative, all-natural skin
rejuvenation.
